Present

To this day, Jürgen Overath serves as a consultant and advisor for Family Offices in Germany. Additionally, several prominent property owners trust his expertise and years of experience. They particularly value his collaboration with external specialists such as brokers, notaries, lawyers, engineers, architects, appraisers, construction companies, and auditors, whom Mr. Overath can engage for any project.

2020

In September 2020, a merger between Aroundtown AG and TLG Immobilien AG was approved, aiming to unite both companies by mid-to-late 2020. As part of this transformation at TLG Immobilien AG, Mr. Overath resigned from his mandates on July 31, 2020.

2018

In October 2018, Mr. Overath, together with a CFO, assumed the role of a board member at TLG Immobilien AG, Berlin, taking on the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Under his leadership, the stock price increased significantly. The new board focused on transparency towards the capital market, clustering the portfolio, identifying development potentials, adjusting the overall portfolio valuation, and motivating the teams. By establishing an in-house development unit, significant project developments were identified, and two major developments in prime locations were initiated.

2017

In January 2017, Jürgen Overath was appointed head for Germany at the SSN Group, headquartered in Switzerland. In this role, he took on a substantial development portfolio. From April 2017, Overath managed and was responsible for SSN-Development, overseeing a real estate development potential of 3.5 billion euros. This task was completed in June 2018, and the SSN Group was sold to Consus AG Berlin.

2015

From May 2015 to the end of 2016, Jürgen Overath worked as a freelance consultant for various Family Offices. In collaboration with a partner, he developed building rights for a large property in Berlin, which was subsequently sold to a project developer. Simultaneously, he continued to expand his own real estate portfolio in the Rhein-Sieg district.

2007

In the summer of 2007, Mr. Overath began establishing a “Germany platform” for commercial real estate. Under the name “German Acorn Real Estate GmbH,” based in Cologne, the company was initially responsible for the asset management of commercial properties acquired by Oaktree Capital Management LLC, valued at around 1.9 billion euros. In 2014, the company merged with Prime Office AG from Munich. After successful integration and another capital increase, the company, under the name Deutsche Office AG, achieved the status of a leading listed commercial real estate platform. In April 2015, the company was acquired by Alstria AG from Hamburg through a takeover bid.

2005

In late May 2005, Jürgen Overath took on the role of COO at the publicly traded DIC Asset AG, where he was responsible for the operational commercial real estate business, including acquisitions, sales, and asset management. The company specialized in acquiring real estate portfolios and individual properties. In 2006, following acquisitions and growth, the company went public (IPO) and subsequently carried out various capital increases.

1999

In September 1999, he joined Corpus Immobiliengruppe as managing director for the commercial real estate sector, overseeing asset management, acquisitions, and divestments of larger real estate portfolios. He was also involved in the establishment of Sireo, a company managing Telekom properties in Germany, which later became the Corpus Sireo Group.

1992

In 1992, Jürgen Overath founded his own company, Overath & Partner GmbH, specializing in the design, leasing, and development of retail centers and shopping centers. Additionally, until early 1999, he worked as a property developer for semi-detached houses.
